Troy Nickerson was an NCAA champion, two-time finalist and four-time All-American for Cornell University. He was also a three-time EIWA champion for the Big Red, as well as a five-time New York state champion while attending Chenango Forks High School in Binghamton. Currently, Troy is preparing for the 2012 US Olympic Freestyle Wrestling Team Trials, where he will contend for the 55KG berth. Clinch Gear is proud to support Troy on his quest for Olympic gold in London.

Chase Pami has qualified for the 2012 US Olympic Freestyle Wrestling Team Trials at 66KG. He is currently a resident athlete at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs and recently won a silver medal at the prestigious Dave Schultz Memorial Tournament. As an undergrad at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Pami was an NCAA Div. I finalist, two-time All-American and two-time Pac-10 champion. Introducing Nick "EL Strangler" Simmons, the 2011 US World Freestyle Team Trials Champion at 55KG. Nick was a four-time NCAA Div. I All-American for Michigan State University and a three-time Big 10 champion. He represented the US at the 2011 World Championships in Turkey, placing fifth. Currently, Nick is an assistant wrestling coach at Oregon State University. Clinch Gear is proud to support Nick's quest for gold at the 2012 Olympic Games.

Introducing Teyon Ware, the 2011 US World Freestyle Team Trials Champion at 66KG. Teyon was a two-time NCAA Div. I champion and four-time All-American for the University of Oklahoma . He represented the US at the 2011 World Championships in Turkey and currently trains in State College, PA, with the Nittany Lion Wrestling Club. Clinch Gear is proud to support Teyon's quest for gold at the 2012 Olympic Games.

We spent a day with 2011 US World Freestyle Team Trials Champion Jake Varner shortly before he left for the World Championships in Turkey, where he took the bronze medal at 96 kg/211.5 lbs. Jake was a four-time NCAA Division I finalist and two-time NCAA champion for Iowa State University. Clinch Gear is supporting Jake on his quest for gold at the 2012 Olympic Games.

Clinch Gear Wrestling's Fernando Serratos interviews 2012 Clinch Gear Battle for the Belt 138lb Champion Natrelle Demison of Bakersfield HS. Demison is currently #14 on the Clinch Gear National HS Rankings. It was his third career Battle for the Belt title.

Clinch Gear Wrestling's Fernando Serratos interviews 2012 Clinch Gear Battle for the Belt 106lb Champion Johnson Mai of North Torrance HS. Mai is a defending California state champion and is currently #3 on the Clinch Gear National HS Rankings. He finished the tournament with four falls and two technical falls to earn the Lower Weight MVP award.

Clinch Gear Wrestling's Fernando Serratos interviews 2012 Clinch Gear Battle for the Belt 132lb Champion Anthony Valencia of St. John Bosco HS. Valencia is a freshman standout who is currently ranked first in the state of California at 126 lbs.
